ABOUT THE TOURISM ROLE IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF IRAN

Abstract

The tourism industry and its role in economical growth are of higher importance and its significance cannot be denied or neglected today. But the history of World trade in Iran especially after the oil emergence and flowing of its huge revenues and incomes in foreign trade of Iran, regression and recession and decrease in oil incomes has led to focus on other areas of income beside oil revenues but practically Iran has been unable to reach any success in this area. Probably the lack of knowledge about this issue and paying not so much attention to that can be the major reasons of that.
