GEOPOWER POSITION OF IRAN AND PROBLEM OF POWER SAFETY

Recently in the international relations the geostrategic relations were replaced geoeconomic relations, and promotion into the forefront in the international relations of the sphere of power geopolitics and its safety began to play a predominating role in the international relations. In our century the power sphere of economy, in particular oil, promoted many regional and international conflicts. For this reason, in addition to strategy of energy resources, power safety, strategic stocks, oil resources, power producers and power consumers, oil both gas pipelines and ensuring their safety began to have special value. During the specified period the Iranian Islamic Republic began to play important role in production and transportation of energy resources. Specified types of resources gave to Iran exclusive situation, both geopolitical, and geoeconomic. Realization of the specified potential will give the chance to play to Iran a special role on the international scene.
