Abstract

This article describes reasons for transition of companies from economic to organizational paradigm in the field of strategic management. Also, this article lists main differences between economic and organizational theories of firm, observes contemporary resource concept of strategic management, and explains the impossibility of non-adaptational transfer of western practice on Russian companies.
