Abstract
The article stresses the practical approaches to assessing the impact of socio-economic development at the regional level, based on the calculation of integral index. The author proposed a system of indicators for evaluation of socio-economic development. The described method of evaluating the effectiveness of socio-economic development at the regional level has been tested on the material of Cherkassy region (Ukraine).
