Abstract
The current state of publishing and editing textbooks for secondary and higher secondary schools in Azerbaijan in the information society, the requirements for formatting and editing of textbooks, the basic principles of this policy, the basic requirements for the content of textbooks are important conditions for the development of policy on textbooks in the information society.
