Abstract
Study the essence of the concept of geopolitics is associated with the need to conduct a comparative analysis of the theories and concepts of different schools from the point of view of historical dualism thalassocracy (sea power) and tellulokratii (land force). The history of the concepts of geopolitics connected with its classical and modern stage of development.
