Abstract
The scheme of formation and use of resource and production potential is discussed in the article, the methodology of comparative assessment of usage efficiency is proposed. The basic assessment directions of potential capabilities of agrarian enterprises are proposed. A set of factors that affect the functioning of agrarian enterprises is described, the essence of concepts "factor of production" and "production capacity" is revealed.
