Abstract
Effective small business development in the conditions of market economy cannot be achieved without the supporting infrastructure. Under the infrastructure is consulting support, manifested in some form of counselling. Given that any management decision carries a set of heterogeneous and multidisciplinary knowledge, naturally, the specialist performing consulting activities must be of high intellectual potential in different areas of knowledge. Therefore, the consulting company, engaged in management consulting should be a team of high level experts in their subject area with such personal property as "readiness for continuous self-education". Product consultancy is a service provided to the client, which has its own life cycle and stages of development. In the article the authors consider the peculiarities of the formation of management consulting in the example of the construction of small businesses. Reviewed construction consulting and features of its organization at the present stage. The proposed technology of its phased implementation.
